Saylor is a five-year-old girl who has been fighting her way through this world from the very first moment. She and her twin sister arrived via the miracle of IVF, and then, at two years old, Saylor was diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and identified as nonverbal. Saylor quickly began intensive weekly therapies and, with the love and support of her amazing parents, was learning new skills and enjoying life. You would almost always find her dancing and laughing in her current favorite swimsuit of the week. In April of 2025, Saylor’s parents and therapists noticed she just wasn’t quite herself and seemed to be struggling with her balance and energy levels more than usual. Scans revealed a tumor on her brainstem—a rare and aggressive cancer called DIPG. There is no known cure, and time is precious. Since April, Saylor has endured 30 rounds of radiation, chemotherapy drugs, and multiple surgeries and procedures, yet all the while she has been spreading sunshine in her swimsuit, inspiring so many as she endures the unimaginable.Maximizing the priceless gift of time is now the goal. Right now, Saylor is blessed to be having more good days than bad, and our hope is to support her and her family so that they can truly soak up these days together without the worry of financial strain. Saylor and her family continue to spread sunshine despite impossible circumstances, and they invite you to do the same wherever you might be.
