Meet the beautiful cancer warrior, Patti Johnson. A year ago in April, Patti went to the hospital with severe abdominal pain, and in May of 2023 she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasised to the liver and lymph nodes. Since then, Patti has been doing chemotherapy treatments every 2 weeks and this June will be doing three weeks of radiation and chemotherapy at Mayo in Rochester, MN. Her children—Megan, Curtis and Allison—are her rock, giving her all of the support and love that she needs to navigate this difficult road. She also has 4 adorable grandchildren that give her even more reason to keep fighting. Patti has had to quit working making her financial situation very difficult trying to keep up with insurance, monthly bills and the never-ending hospital bills. Through it all, Patti has stayed remarkably positive, believing that everything happens for a reason and you just have to try and make the very best of each day.
