Dalling Family

Meet Tiffany and Jordan Dalling! Tiffany is a wife, mother, and entrepreneur. When pregnant with her first child, she was plagued with hyperemesis gravidarum: severe nausea and vomiting the entire pregnancy which causes weight loss, dehydration, malnutrition and often hospitalization. Despite the difficult pregnancy, Jordan and Tiffany felt another child was waiting to join the family.  Almost 8 months ago, the Dallings received a miracle with the conception of their second child! With Tiffany's first pregnancy, the hyperemesis gravidarum was slow but persistent. The second pregnancy began at conception and raged against her body. Violently ill and unable to consume even water, Tiffany began to waste away. She dropped nearly 20 pounds and dipped below 100 lbs. She was unable to leave her bed and the nausea was unrelenting. For those that know Tiffany, this description seems unbelievable. Her doctors agreed that her withering frame was both shocking and incomprehensible.  Oral meds and a feeding tube were out of the question. Anything that hit her stomach was quickly expelled. She lived with a zofran pump for 5 months, a Picc line aided with an iv fluid and TPN. Slowly but surely, Tiffany was slowly gaining her weight back. At about 23 weeks, however, a fever was the first clue that everything was not okay. Tiffany's lungs were filled with fluid and there was no explanation. The cause of the infection could not be found and the medical team was baffled. She was airlifted to the University of Utah where it was decided that she was suffering from Maternal Shock/Sepsis and was at risk of having to deliver. Her heart and organs were shutting down and she was placed on a feeding tube. After days on antibiotics, the Dallings received another miracle. Through the grace of God, incredible doctors and a will of steel, she is not only alive, but still pregnant!

About the Walli Gives Back Program:

When Walli Cases was created, owners Nick and Jenna Emery were recently married and both emerging from what they would describe as the darkest times of their lives. They are both passionate about reaching out to others in need because of the huge outpouring of love and support they received during their trials, including Jenna becoming a widow with an 8-month-old son and more recently losing her mother to cancer, and Nick going through divorce. When they created Walli cases, they wanted to help others feel the same hope and encouragement, and the Walli Gives Back program was created. Each month, Walli chooses a family to support. This quote by Natalie Norton sums up why they are both devoted to "giving back" to others in their time of need: "There is always a light. Find it. Follow it. And then turn around and shine it as brightly as you can for those still feeling their way through the darkness."
