I bought this when I bought the phone case. I've never used one before and still haven't used this one either. It's cheap black plastic, not nearly as nice as the wrist lanyard which is a nice, soft material. I guess it would get the job done if you needed it, but I don't need it. But, I also didn't think I needed the wrist lanyard and now love that...so who knows, maybe one day I'll need this and be glad I have it.

The strap is okay. I felt it could be a little better quality. It I have had no problem with it.

Love the case but the the lanyard is very chinsy and already broke.

I also wish I had known that the lanyard does not come with the purse case. It makes no sense.
