After fighting for his life for two weeks in the ICU, Chris passed away from a previously undiagnosed brain tumor, leaving behind his wife, Sarah, and their two young daughters. Chris was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, missionary, BYU graduate, software engineer, and loyal friend. He loved sports, Mario Kart, the Philippines, and most of all, God and his family. On December 6, he developed a sudden severe headache. The next day, Sarah took him to the ER. His last words to her were, “I’m just trying to give you a kiss.” Minutes later, he stopped breathing. A scan revealed a large brain tumor. He was life-flighted to another hospital, underwent two brain surgeries, and fought courageously, squeezing “I love you” three times. On December 22, he passed away. In one final act of generosity, he donated five organs, giving life to five other families. His legacy is faith, family, and quiet strength.
